HuD Membership Development Process

  • Express interest by signing up
  • Attend at least 2 HuD Events
  • Take the mandatory Preliminary Courses. (7 courses in total)
  • Complete the membership application form.
  • Have a one-on-one interview with the Membership Development Team
  • Support the ministry with time (volunteering), treasure(finance) and talents
  • Commit to reading the entire Bible and the supplementary manuals and recommended books
  • Complete personal projects and assignments including developing a personal mission statement.

Meet the HuD Group Ghana Executive Team

MRS. KARIS SENANU ADZOSII

Mrs. Karis E. Senanu-Adzosii is a Professional Counselling Practitioner, a Certified Professional Coach and works as the Assistant Emotional Counsellor at SOS Hermann Gmeiner College, in Tema – Ghana. Previously she worked for eight (8) years as the HR & Administrative Manager at Aviation Alliance ltd. GSA for Delta Air Lines in Ghana. She worked with a five (5)-member senior management team on strategy develop-ment and execution planning for companies in Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Cote D’Ivoire. Karis has a passion for broadcasting and has been in the Radio industry for 8 years and also engaged in Christian television broadcasting for two years. Karis enjoys volunteering with organizations that promote Leadership Development in the Youth. Thus, she has volunteered with The HuD Group Ghana in various capacities for the past 8 years; becoming CEO in August 2020. In April 2020, she became a member of YLGen of the Lausanne Movement.

Karis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, U.S.A and an MPhil in Guidance & Counselling Psy-chology from Methodist University College, Ghana. Karis’ primary mission in life is to use the gift of encouragement to give people a vision of themselves as noble, wonderful, beautiful persons capable of changing and being an agent of change in their world.

MR. KOFI AWUKU-SAO

Mr. Kofi Awuku-Sao is an astute finance professional with a wealth of experience in investment banking, management consulting and insurance. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration (Insurance Option) from the University of Ghana Business School.

Kofi is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and holds an advanced diploma in insurance from the same institute. He also holds an advanced certificate in Corporate Governance from the Institute of Directors – Ghana. He is responsible for developing strategy, spearheading business acquisition, and maintaining key accounts.  He is directly responsible for a number of our divisions including: Motor, Energy, Aviation, Construction and Natural Resources.

MR. LAWRENCE LARWEH

Lawrence is an Auditor and Tax Consultant by profession. He has over ten years’ experience in working with organisations focusing on human development and seven years’ experience in finance related fields. Lawrence’s passion for leadership and people development started at an early age when he became the president of the Junior Achievement club in High School. While in the University also, he started an investment and entrepreneurship club which empowered students to cultivate investment and entrepreneurial habits. In 2012, he served with the Rural Enterprises Programmes at the Central Region of Ghana.

He later joined The HuD Group as the Head of Operations, where he leads and manages the internal operations of the group and directly accounts to the CEO for the successes and failures of the entire National Group. His experience over the years has equipped him with skills in Administration & Operations, People Development, Finance & Taxation, PR & Branding and Event Organisation. He trains in Financial Reporting, Leadership, Investment, Personal & Career Development and Microsoft Excel. Lawrence is a Certified Leadership Coach from Dr. John C. Maxwell’s EQUIP Million Leaders Mandate Worldwide Project. He currently leads FiT Consult to help MSMEs and Start-ups build systems and controls for sustainable growth in Ghana.

MS. GLADYS OFORI

Gladys Ofori is a certified Human Resource Practitioner with over 8 years work experience. She currently heads the Human Resource Department of the Ghana Petroleum Mooring Systems, an Oil and Gas transportation and distribution company, where she has responsibility for setting up the leading, defining and managing of the Human Resource strategy of the business, developing policies, and establishing systems and structures in performance management, rewards and recognition, and learning and development. Prior to this role, she has had stints in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Telecommunications sectors, where she’s been known for astutely shaping and driving organisational culture and employee engagement and aligning HR interventions to the business strategy to improve business performance. Gladys has been certified by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), USA and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Practitioners Ghana. She holds a bachelor’s degree in French and Psychology. Gladys believes she is called to lead change and bring structure into organisations and healing to its people.

MRS. IVANA AMPONSAH

Mrs. Ivana Ewurama Amponsah is a development practitioner with over 5 years’ experience in project management, client service management and office administration with organisations in Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire and France. Ivana is passionate about meaningful youth engagement, leadership, community development, women empowerment and volunteering. These interests have propelled her to volunteer and work with some local and international N.G.Os such as AIESEC, The Springboard Roadshow Foundation, UNHRD, FAO, UNFPA and the HuD Group Ghana. She currently works as the Business Development Executive of the HuD Group Ghana and is also the Co-founder of The Ewura Initiative-a budding N.G.O dedicated to engaging, educating, economically  empowering adolescent girls in rural and deprived communities to become Kingdom-minded, purpose-driven and well-rounded leaders with a spirit of volunteerism for community development.

She is also a first class honours graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and French from the University of Ghana Legon and a Diploma in French Studies from the University of Strasbourg, France. Ivana’s primary mission in life is to engage, educate and empower young people all over the world to become Kingdom minded and purpose driven, all rounded leaders joyfully affecting sustainable change in their communities and the world at large all for God’s glory.

MR. ISAAC NARTEH DJANGMAH

His career journey began as an insurance frontline sales agent but over the years he has risen to occupy top management positions in an FMCG and a leading telecom company in Ghana. He is passionate about young people; encouraging and empowering the emerging generation to discover, develop and deploy their God given gifts to serve their generation well. He holds an EMBA in General Management from KNUST, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Study of Religions from University of Ghana, Legon and a Diploma in Biblical Studies from ABTC, Accra. Having served as a National Secretary of the Teen’s Ministry of The Apostolic Church-Ghana, he currently serves as an elder at the C5 Assembly of the Church.
